Coronis Mortgage and Finance (CMF) claimed one of the major titles at the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) awards, winning the Finance Broker Business Award – 2 to 5 Loan Writers on June 16, 2017.

The award recognises CMF as the most effective finance business of their size, creating innovative home loan solutions for their clients and implementing a new state-of-the-art system to improve efficiencies and facilitate future growth.

Managing Director, Tyson James said the win is testament to his team’s hard work, customer service and collaboration.

“We’re stoked to win such a prestigious award with such a young business,” Mr. James said. “We have created a team of hungry, like-minded people who consistently strive to deliver innovative lending solutions for their clients and have fun doing it.

“2016 was monumental for us. With a strong vision, and the support of our aggregator and technology partner Connective, we built a new state-of-the-art system that has significantly increased our efficiencies and streamlined our processes – it’s been a game changer for the business, and our brokers individually who had a lot of input throughout the build.

“With a solid foundation in place and our strategic growth plan, 2017 has seen us almost triple the size of our team to 13 mortgage brokers. We’re always looking for like-minded people to join the team and hit out immediate goal of placing a broker in each of Coronis’ 22 offices.

Managing Director of the Coronis Group, Andrew Coronis was extremely proud at how far the Finance team had come in just two years.

“Tyson and his team have added great value to Coronis’ end-to-end offering and truly enhanced our brand,” Mr Coronis said.

“They have taken our original idea of creating a home loan business and grown it into a full financial suite of services including financial planning, strategy, risk insurance, Self-Managed Super Funds plus more.”

As a winner of the 2017 MFAA Awards, Coronis Mortgage and Finance have the opportunity to win the prestigious national title at the MFAA national awards ceremony, which will be held on July 27 in Melbourne.
